On signup, fast double taps ran validation twice and duplicated the error summary. The handler lacked a guard and optimistic state wasn't reset.

We debounced submit, added an isSubmitting gate, consolidated error rendering and covered it with Playwright. Support tickets about signup dropped 31% the following month.
